Superchip for BRM/VI

Thinking of getting a 'Superchips' upgrade for the car. Been on their site and they offer the following upgrade:

Original bhp : 142
Original nm : 174
BHP increase : 8

Price* : £299.00

Not a great deal more BHP and it doesn't mention any torque increase so wondering whether this upgrade would be worthwhile?

Has anyone done this to their car, and are there any other options to remap?

I've heard they don't often give the power quoted. Not had any experience with them myself, but i'd personally save the extra pennies and get a decent aftermarket ECU such as an Emerald.

Do you know whether the Emerald has the facility for a shift light? Seen this on a Caterham and looked pretty cool.

I would guess so. Will have to look through the manual...
