Hi lads! and lad'ets.

I'm new!! Names mark, brother used to have a brm but sadly died last year, he used to take me out in it all the time and it was really good. I've just turned 18 and hoping to find a good quote to insurance my first BRM, it wont be cheap but hopefully worth it. Kinda makes sense to get one, and do all the things my brother wanted to do to his but never got the chance.

My bro's was V200 VVC, is it still around? or on here?

Thanks! Mark! :beer2:

Welcome to the site Mark!

You wont look back owning a BRM, wish I could've afforded one at 18, but that was a while ago. They're group 16 insurance so be prepared for a whallop on the wallet.

Any info you need just give us a shout!

I've not seen V200VVC about unfortunately :(

Well i'll be going on the traders policy (dads), he's looking to add me to the policy but tradex arent playing ball, so he's looking elsewhere for a similar company.

They normally insure upto a value as apposed to insurance group, but all work in different ways, so we will have to see.

Shame V200' isnt about here.

The only one i've seen round here is P9 BEN, well think its that, been a while since i've seen it actually. The only others ive seen in preston have had the silver grill, which in my opinion is NOT a brm, haha!

I believe that P9BEN was/is Ben Chesworths car, although not seen him about online for ages!

hey m8, welcome.

Got my BRM when i was 19, was a real piss take with insurance (4-10k full comp!!!!) but i eventually found a company called bell.com - got it for £1700 tpft which was still alot of money but it was worth it!
Would definatley recommend them but a trade policy should be cheaper still - another route that i think is available now is Classic Car Insurance - might be worth a look for ya!

Enjoy da car m8, if u liked being a passenger ur gonna love driving 1!! ;)
