hi im going looking at brm at weekend & it has been fitted with koni sport suspension, so is it any good ,better than oe setup & is there anything i should look for when i go & view it

Hi,

I dont know about suspension set ups but im sure an expert will be along soon to tell you!

In my opinion you need to check the following..

Accident Damage - check under bonet and in the boot under the carpet, look for creases, check colour of paint and finish on panels ect..

Rust (they rust well!)... all wheel arches, top of windscreen, around rear tailgate hinges, sills, roof (where the rubber strips are)

Head Gasket - Usual checks on oil, water, ect

Not sure how much yours spending but check the cars service history carefully, fewer owners, good service history are worth paying more for.

The fact the car has koni's on would suggest it may have had other modifications, check them out well if it has, i prefer an original car but i know there are many who like to modify and some are done well while others are poor!
