hi people.

nice to find this forum. My names danny, I'm 18 from livingston, in scotland.
I've been obsessed with MG/Rovers ever since i was about 15, with the collapse of the company. when my grandad was selling his 1999 v reg 414, with 32k on the clock, i couldnt resist buying it.

I've modified it slightly, lowered 40mm, fitted rover marked mudflaps, painted grill, induction kit, upgraded head unit and sound system, fitted front fogs. photos can be seen here

anyway, i've decided i now want a 200 BRM, going to start saving and wait until i'm 19, then start looking. ideally i'd like a completely standard BRM. i think they look best standard (no offence to any modifying owners).

cheers.:beer2:

Welcome to the site Danny

This is definitely the place to come if you want any info on BRM's and in my opinion you couldn't be wanting a better car (I am hugley biased however!). Nice looking 400 you have there, very subtly modified.

So enjoy your stay and ask away any questions that you have!

Hello Danny - I'm new here myself and the welcome and offer of support and information is a breath of fresh air - they're a bunch of good guys by the look of things.

BRM at 19!

Fair play - go for gold guy, just don't get yourself in to debt to do it though!

Ah, happy memories of a clapped out 1979 Renault 5 when I was 19 :D

I like the dark grill on the 400 - looks a bit jag x-type, think the 400 grills would look really good in the same colour as the body panels?

1979 Series 3 landrover, slow, noisy leaked like a sieve and still one of the favourite cars I've had, absolutely great. Think we're starting a new thread here... :smile2:
