MY key fob seems to have died anyone got one they can give, sell, or any help will do.

ps yes I have changed the battery. I have tried three of the buggers. sorry i'm slightly piss$@£ off.

do you know you have to open close them a couple of times when you replace the battery?

Sometimes the metal cover for battery brakes off from the circuit board, there are 3 soldered locations one of these could be broken ? Re-solder and it should be ok again.

. . . . . and this is where I let everyone I know how much of a Bodger I can be - I fixed a fob for a MKI Vauxhall Vectra for a mate at work when he couldn't unlock the car to get home . . . . .by using the foil from a kit kat to 'complete the circuit' where the solder joint had failed.

I hope it's a quick fix for you - just don't bodge it like I did (it worked until he traded the car in a couple of months later)

I have tried it, now it works on and off but not so i would trust it, so still has anyone got anymore ideas please. :wacko:
