Just got up extra early to go on a Pistonheads Hoon and got a problem.
Car started fine, but heard a noise, which was getting worse as I was closing the gate to my drive. Rushed to the car and turned off ignition, the starter carried on running!!
Had to disconnect battery terminal in a hurry! Put it back on, everything OK. Started car again, same problem!
So looks like the starter solenoid/relay is staying powered?
Anyone had this before?
What's the quick fix?
