Are these things possibly related?

I won't be looking at the rear wash issue until I've finished sorting the brakes out, but am I being too optimistic in thinking that fixing the rear washer problem will solve the water in the wheel well issue?

Having said that, the boot lid wasn't closing very tight and I've adjusted the rubber stops on the bootlid and catch 'hoop' to get it closing tighter - looks better too.

Opinions appreciated.

Thanks,

Gary.

I've just had this and found out it was my rear lights were not sealed to the body work properly and was letting in water. Just somethng for you to investigate.

Hi how do you adjust the boot because I have same problem

Open the bootlid, look up and on the left and right side you can see some rubber stops. You can wind these in so that the boot will be a little bit lower down. If you do this, you'll also have to adjust the catch at the lip of the boot opening by removing the little rubber stop on the right, releasing both bolts securing it to the bodywork and sliding it downwards. Check what you've done by closing the lid then trying to lift the bootlid to show if there's any 'play'. You'll have to repeat the process a few times to make sure it 'catches' properly.

I'll be looking in to the sealing of the lights following Welshone's advice too.

Hope this helps a bit.
