Hi everyone!
Because ive got air con in my BRM the alternator is placed above the air con unit. this is causing the main large rubber radiator pipe to melt due to it running very close to the alternator and excesive heat comming from it. Ive bought a new radiator as it looks abit worn out which i will replace soon, and ive bought a new radiator pipe. But im worried this 1 will start getting damaged.
I reckon it could be something to do with the rubber gromits that secure the radiator that could be worn, there for when its driving the air is pushing the radiator back to much causing the pipe to rest on the alternator.
Has anyone else had this problem???

Not had the problem myself, but you're right it could be the grommits are worn. Check a local scrappies for a bubble shape car, they are the same across the whole range.
