i have no idea about the wing mirrow but yeah its black am thinking of trying flick off cover and spay it if it comes off

I wouldn't mind finding out the colour code for the silver myself, as mine are a bit scuffed and could do with a flash over.

You will need to take the whole mirror assemble off the car to take it apart :( I've recently spayed up a black rover 200 mirror for my BRM it came out ok :D

are the mirrows easy to get off and back on ?

Yes very easy just two screws behind the black panel inside the car and the wires are connected by a plug just hehind the doorcard in the top right hand corner :)
