I have recently bought a set of three 16" BRM Cosmos alloy wheels, but obviously now need a fourth to complete the set. If possible I would also like a fifth so that I have complete set, and a matching spare!

Anybody able to help, please drop me a PM - many thanks - condition or colour not too important.

Many thanks for the heads up chaps.

Thanks 'welshone' (or is it Ian?). I'm not sure what you might have available at the end of the month, but I really only need one wheel at first, and then hopefully a second to use for the spare. Is that what you have, or are you talking about a full set?

Thanks 'spankyban' - I don't supose you have a link do you? I've tried searching for the item, but have had no joy so far.

I have a set of 4 but thinking about getting rid of two of them. They do need work as they are not in the standard silver sparkle and they do release air.

Will let you know if i'm going to let them go at the end of the month.

Just whats the deal with these alloys losing air? is a refurb (powder coat) the only cure?

Thanks mate - let me know all the details nearer the time then, but I will of course have to keep looking elsewhere in the meantime. I'm sure you understand that.

Yeah, I too would like to know what the situation is with these rims loosing air?

The rims corrod, they just need sanding down and repainting (tyre off job :( ). Did it to the set on the car at the moment and they are holding up great :D

Ah so it's just the rims, I'd read the word 'porous' somewhere and it put the frighteners up me that the whole alloy somehow seeped air

What about silcone sealing the rim?

All sorted on this one thanks all! :D

In fact, I actually have SEVEN rims now, so once I've merged them all together and chosen the best rims to keep for myself, I will actually have two rims that are surplus to requirements if anyone's interested? They would be ideal as a replacement for a damaged rim, or even as a replacement for your pressed steel spare!
