View Full Version : **MG LIVE** @ Silverstone 2009
We have the oppurtunity to have a display stand at MG Live at Silverstone on the 10th, 11th and 12th July.
http://mglive.com/index.php
I am initially looking to ascertain numbers for the event so if anyone interested in attending could pop your name onto the list below (copy and paste it) then I can inform the organisers.
We wont know for definite if we have a stand until next week, but it has been provisionally approved to create extra space.
So names below please....

Im interested in attending, and will give it a thorough look later on.
A quick glance at their website shows:
Tour De Silverstone (Car + 2 Passengers) £20.00
Does anyone know if that means we can take our car round silverstone? or we are driven in a car with another passenger? I do hope its the former..

On the circuit tour front, i have emailed them for an answer because the page doesn't give any info but looking at the ticket page it costs £15 on the Sunday.

This looks like it could be a good day out. I'm surprised the MGCC are allocating space for a stand of lowly Rovers!
Its because we're 'special' :D

I agree, by owning a BRM we show that we have good taste and appreciate the finer things in life. We belong to a select few motorists who actually acknowledge each other.

Just received an email from MGCC to say that we will be discussed at an upcoming Director's meeting to see if they will allow us on circuit tour. Will update again as soon as I hear anything.
We must be getting on their nerves badgering them about us poor wee BRM's
CONFIRMED!!!
We have a stand at the event! I am awaiting details of costs, etc and will let you all know ASAP.
Should be a cracking weekend :D

Ok people, prices are here.....

Please whoever is interested could you let me know:
1) how many days you are coming for?
2) when you have bought your ticket?
Unfortunately I can't subsidise the event by buying a group lot of tickets and dishing them out, so everyone is responsible for buying their own ticket.
Deadline for advance ticket sales is the end of this month!!!!
I'm going to camp over bud. What ticket do I need? Just the weekend one?
Yup, the weekend one should be the one!

Wouldn't you need the:
Weekend Ticket (Non-members) 35.00
&
Tent Pitch (General Area) 15.00
or
Tent Pitch (Quiet Area) 15.00
So £50.00 to camp for the weekend.
I've just sent them a email to clarify. :icecream:

I'll be there all weekend and I will come looking for you. However, I will be driving my MG Midget and be parking elsewhere. Beer at the campsite still seems favourite though!
Good stuff Rab. I'll be lurking on the Z cars fwd register stand if I remember rightly. Will be good to get out of the house/work for a few days!
