alarm problem

hi ive got a strange problem with my brm alarm, basicaly the volumetric sensor wont work & the indicators dont flash when it is locked but the alarm sets it self as normal & all the door boot bonnet sensors work as alarm goes off when they are opened. anyone any ideas

oh forgot to say there is nothing wrong with the volumetric sensor ive tested it & it works fine.

Are you locking car/setting the alarm with the remote? because if you just lock the car with the key it sets the alarm but doesn't set the volumetric sensor

yeah its being set with the remote not key
