What do you think is better both handling and comfort wise.
I have a full set of suspension off a ZR that I have been trying to get rid of for a while, taken off my old R25
Would it be worth swapping the BRM ones for the ZR setup?
I am happy with the standard setup on the BRM, it seems to handle really well.
Can the ZR be even better?
Opinions please!
(I had the ZR setup lowered 35mm on the R25, never standard - the ride was terrible - I imagine the standard spings are a bit better?)
ZR shocks are stiffer than the BRM shocks, so should roll a little less. Not sure it'll have a drastic effect on the handling though, but I never fitted the ZR kit to mine.
I did have the BRM shocks with ZR Avo lowering springs and that was bloody awful. No improvement on handling but the ride quality went to pot.
However I would seriously recommend coilovers to anyone looking to upgrade their suspension. They are another level altogether.

Coilovers are on the cards for a few months time (need to save pennies first)
Just atm I have ZR suspension sat in the shed doing nothing.
Thought there might be some use to be had out of em

i run full zr setup on mine and have notice less roll, no comprimise in ride quality (soft enough but firm when you need it to be) then i fitted a front and rear strut beace and wow, how sharp is turn in!
The increased ride height may annoy you - like it does me.

The BRM setup is lower than the ZR setup?
I thought it was the other way around...

The ZR160 looks lower because of the 17inch wheels.

I know the ZR setup is ~25mm lower than standard rover springs, but how much lower in the BRM setup than standard springs?

A further 25mm on that iirc.
The Zr has a slight increased height to clear the 205/40/17's
