kill switch

not sure if this is the correct section but has anyone wired in a ignition kill switch?? maybe the big bossman has one on his track car? is it straight forward to wire in and what gauge of wire is best..:beer2:

Yup, fitted one to the track car, although I have connected it to the wrong wire at the moment :slap:

It currently kills the car, but not once the engine is running, whoopsy! I spliced into one of the wires from the ignition barrel, but obviously the wrong one.

Pretty straightforward to fit though, used a slightly larger gauge of wire though, can't remember the exact size off the top of my head.

I can't honestly remember (was a while ago that I did it). Used the Rave manual to find the right colours, but if I remember rightly the colours in the manual didn't actually match the colours on the car. Probably where it all went a bit pear shaped, whoops!

No shock there a rave disc that was wrong...
