So I had a call from my sister last night, she was wondering if I could drive her and the kids up to the caravan they own just south of Scarborough.
Of course I can! the going will be a little boring - car full of people and bags - but coming back.........
A haven of the BRM's bread and butter B roads! but I have a quandry, do I return on the coast road which I know like the back of my hand and the bonus of a secluded 2 mile section of dual carridge way at the end? or do I take a slightly longer way home and use the road that Clarkson once described as one of the best stretches of road in the UK? (He took the Boxster up there when he 1st got it to review) - deserted country road with dips, bends and straights (and the odd village to flash through)
I apologise in advance to the wives and children of all the flies and moths that won't be coming home on Friday night :(

On a side note - something that struck me about the BRM over every other car I've driven, is how it just eats hills like they aren't there!

I'll have you know I frequent the finest off licences in all of Camden Town, where a can of White Ace or Red K can be purchased for the princely sum of £0.89

Sounds like a cracking night out! I'm well up for having theBRM.co.uk Xmas party there!!
Although I'll warn you all in advance that copious amounts of cheap booze usually result in A: Me getting the little fella out in packed public places for comedy value. And B: Me being sick on my shoes (or anyone elses unlucky enough to be in range)

I wouldnt risk denting my trolley...
my insurance premium is already sky high from the time I tanked 12 cans of white ace and wraped it round a lampost.....
And a pedestrian.

Just get your brakes fixed so you don't have to use objects to slow you down.
