I have some great plans with the car, so I'm looking for sponsors, anyone??
otherwise you all have to wait more then a year, and I don't think you guys can do that

I'm not willing to prostitute myself, exept you are a beautifull girl.

Afraid so

Have you tried asking the companies that would be supplying the parts?

bwa, no, don't think they'll do it anyway.

for example, I going to buy coilovers, but here everybody has KW's. I can buy those (kw's wont let them buy me for less, there's are well known, everybody buy's them) But for a company like leda it would be interesting, nobody knows them here (I know one shop who sells them somewhere near Roeselare, a guy who makes rallycars) But I'm member of some dutch mg-r and other tuning forums, so it would been in there profit. besides that I'm carmechanic, so there are some people who ask my opinion, I can always recommend them as I have the opportunity to test them. now I only can say something about KW, Eibach and billstein. If I can buy them for half the price and 3 other people buy them they already make a profit. I even want to sticker the car. Same with my radio, I have the full kenwood stuff (screen, dvd, navigation all worth 4000€. the company gave me a sticker from them and asked if I want to ... somewhere on the rearwindow. No I said, why should I, what's in it for me?? now everybody who also wants it I say: check e-bay. to bad for the shop.

anyway, I don't expect anything, I busy saving :p

What are you offering them in return? what show exposure will you have?, magazine shoots?

If not your right you will get nothing as a sticker whizzing round a street wont get them the marketing they want.

If you go to them to say you have a spot at this show and are activly seeking magazine space they will be more forthcoming.

As a retailer, it is difficult to even think about sponsorship of a car, unless it is radically different to what is currently about. Unless it really stands out, it is hard to think that it will attract enough interest to warrant the sponsorship.

With products, don't go to the manufacturer, go to a retailer, they will often sell at a discount price (we do), and you will get a better deal.

To be honest I doubt you will ever get anything free, and if you do, you will be expect to have you car logo'ed up with the manufacturers/suppliers stickers.
