Well went to visit a mate up in Greenwich and there was a very big boat sitting outside his flat, so I couldn't resist and took some photo's!

Enjoy...

Hehe, was just lucky it was there today really :D

Couldn't get any closer unfortunately, to get there I had to drive through some bollards onto a pedestrianised zone, oops!

At least you could have parked it on the flight deck

I couldn't get any closer unfortunately, that's the best I could do. Even to get there I had to drive through some bollards onto a pedestrianised area, oops

Adam,

I like the Dunlops your car is wearing. Are they expensive to get hold of ?

Dunlop sp 9000 are the only tyre to have on her the white paint has to be done by yourself though. My last ones cost me £88 each +vat fitting balancing and anything else they could add £112 in total each  just ask your local fitter he may have to get them in.

Ahh I see, you painted on the Dunlop name yourself. I had previously looked for Dunlop tyres like yours after I saw a photo of a Rover BRM next to an original BRM race car. That Rover had the Dunlop tyres with the name on in white.

My car still has the tyres that were fitted when I bought her. However, given the milleage I'm running up now, I'll probably have to invest in some new rubber soon.

That is Adam's car with the white writing, as far as I know you get some tyre white wall paint and go over the writing on the tyre. (don't try the stuff from B&Q ) you will have to ask Adam where he got it

thats right yes, but touch up paint you could use, i think thats what adam has used, but you should wait for him to return from holiday before you go for it, incase he has any tips and tricks

I used a special tyre paint pen, think it was from Rimmer Bros. Other things just didn't seem to work, its time consuming but looks good in the end.

p.s. Dunlop SP9000's from mytyres.co.uk were £63 each when I bought them :D
