Well another trackday down for the TDR BRM and once again the car performed faultlessly and even better than last time.
The recent suspension modifications have dramatically stiffened the front end and all but eliminated the understeer that we suffered last time, even the tyres seemed to wear a bit less, so the increased camber is definitely giving larger contact patches to the track.
There were a host of cars there ranging from the BMW 3 series, a TVR Cerbera, an entire squadron of Caterham's and lots of others. The BRM was about mid range, actually managing to mix it up with the Caterhams, losing ground in the corners, but making it up with the grunt down the straights.
Good to see a host of people there too who came to see the car. Gave a few passenger rides and unfortunately Graham from this site's ride was cut a bit short when I had a little 'off' going through the esses. Sounded more dramatic than it was (more a gentle pirouette) but I ended up in the grass. Will teach me to go far too hot into a corner and lift off part way through.
Anyway, enough of my waffle, here are some pics with more to follow....
