As above, what's your all time favourite car film?
Gotta say I'd be going with either Smokey and the Bandit (but not the god awful S&tB 3!) or Cannonball Run! :smile2:
I've also watched Gone in 60 Seconds more than once!
You've picked 3 cracking ones there, all favourites of mine. I've lusted after the Shelby GT500 'Eleanor' for years!
Also watch the original Gone in 60 Seconds, one of the best car chases and escape sequences ever, so cheesy its unbelievable!
Don't hate me but I do like the Fast and Furious films for their sheer mindlessness required to watch them and how the cars all have 58 gears.
Another oddity that makes me chuckle is Taxi and the chase sequence in Ronin is quality, of course there's the chase in Bullit too.
Not a car film but watch The Fastest Indian, a proper feel good motorbike film!

For me, being a bit older it has to be the Blues Brothers with one of the best car crashes ever done. It has only just been beaten for the number of cars crashed.
Great film there Gary. Which film beat the number of crashes?

Isn't it the New GI Joe film that has just broke that car crash record?
I was going to add in my orginal post - 1st person to mention the F&F films gets the beers in!
Oh yeah have to agree on the Ronin car scene! it's an epic.
And I watched a documentary on Indian motorbikes once, turns out they are the favoured choice of Wall of Death riders!

They're still cars! The fact they then turn into big fighting robots is just a sub-plot
Herbie anyone?
Must mention The Italion Job as a great! But if anyone says the sequel then i'll ban them.

Funny you should say that - it happened in Hull once!

The thing is, in The Italian Job the mini couldn't actually do a full revolution.

Grand Prix - classic old racing cars and real drivers acting! (sort of).
Gone in 60 seconds is a great film for all the "Redheads" and Eleanor.

i have to say 'gone in 60 seconds' is my favourite. just because of all the amazing cars in it and im with Adam on this one, ive lusted after Eleanor for too long now! Also because Nicolas Cage is cool as hell tbh.
I do like the Fast & Furious films, cant beat the first one though.
I was actually racking my brain trying to think of a third but i have to go with 'Days of Thunder'. Some 80's cheese but i love it and have watched it more than once.
Strike me down but i havent seen any of the golden oldies such as Bullit or Italian Job. Its on my 'to do' list!

As BRMARK says it's the new GI JOe film. I hope you all mean the original Italian job and not the poor remake.
I also loved the Indian film as well, I just could not believe it was about a real guy.
