View Full Version : Ti calipers with cosmos alloys
Hi does anyone know if standard brm alloys will fit over 282mm ti calipers?
I've just fitted them to my car and the thought never crossed my mind if standard 16" alloys would fit.

Just checked on ebay, the Ti wheels for sale there are 16" so you should be alright, but let us know

Not sure if the holes are in the same place, some with more knowledge than me could confirm this.

600 wheels won't fit the 200 or 400's!

Ti calipers will fit over 15" alloys on 200 / 400, but would require 10mm spacers to be fitted. I don't know if this is because of the radius or offset. If it's down to the offset, then spacers would have to used for 16" wheels also - if it's due to the radius, a 16" wheel may be OK over them.
These have been fitted to a 200 before. See link below.

As for 600 / 800 wheels - Kev and Boogie are right. They don't fit 200 / 400 models. I don't think anyone was suggesting otherwise though.

you will need 3/5mm spacers iirc to get the TI setup under cosmos.
the 600 offset is nearly the same as the 200 execpt the 600 can take anything up to an eT 50 offfset wheel.
Correct that the pcd is different 4x114.3

You 100% sure? I just bought a 620ti calliper and pads setup for my BRM.. But not heard of needing spacers before I suppose I will find out for sure in a few days lol

Aaah and easy option, im sold!!
Hi all,
My shinny new set of cosmos arived this morning, and just to confirm they do fit perfectly well over 282mm discs with Ti calipers, with no spacers required.
In fact theres still a bit of space for a bigger disc, not that i'll be upgrading anytime soon!
I'll have some pics next week as im busy refurbing and painting the calipers.
By the way, does anyone know of any BRM center caps up for sale?
i never got any with my wheels and dont realy want to put rover ones on.

I believe I have the part number if you want to try x-part or brown and gammons - but it's at work, I'll post it up tomorrow :)
I think this might be them, you'd have to check before you ordered thou
