Had a mini track day at Oulton Park which was organised over on .org
There was a vvc F, vvc coupe and the BRM. (plus a few others)
The BRM seemed to have a slight edge over the other vvc rovers. It was torrential on the track, so its a bit hard to tell how hard people were pushing, but on the straights, I was catching up a bit!
The blue Peugeot was the 175bhp model, and didnt manage to overtake me.

I was 6ft behind the F when it span off, which caused me to have a bit of a detour across the grass.

I'm liking how the BRM stands out against the other cars in the shots!

Who needs professional photographers? All you need are some people to turn up off the forums with a digital camera!

I wants a track car, but the BRM is too good to strip out. Anybody selling a cheep VI? :devil:

The bit where you're backwards and eating mud or the bit where you're going that fast that your wing badges have fallen off?

If you want a good track day on a fast track with loads of run off areas try Anglesey. There really is only one area you can damage your car (the pit wall).

What sort of speeds can you get up to at Oulton Park in the BRM? Just wondering how it compares speed wise to Anglesey.

Got into 4th, so 90+, in torrential conditions on a few locations (with very generous braking). Didnt look at the speedo tbh
