Hi guys and gal(s),

Just had my MoT, which it went through no probs. :smile2:

It was pointed out to me that the inner part of the front tyres are wearing a lot quicker than the rest of the tyre. The MoT'r didn't think it was a tracking issue, and asked if I knew it was a characteristic of the car due to it being lowered that extra 20mm from the Vi - any ideas anyone? (I will be getting the tracking checked just to make sure though).

Cheers,
Rob

Ive the same problem, ive had my tracking checked and its fine!!
Im putting it down to the tired suspension, just got mine through the MOT and have put 2 budget tyres on the front temporareley until i replace the shockers and springs rather than destroying good quality tyres.

My tracking was fine too. Glad it's not just me. My car has done 122,000 so maybe about time for some shocks etc.
Thanks for reply.

i failed my MOT last week due to both front tyres doing the same. must just be the suspension thats tired as mine has done 130k too.

I had my MOT last week and that was an issue on my front near side tyre

The inside of my N/S front also worn, no issue on the otherside but I just had a new tyre on there after I burst the old one hitting a pot hole at 40.
