at last i've got my engine running. now with throttle bodies, hi-lift cams, ported head, uprated valve spring and new ecu. naturally i've had nothing but problems with electrics and alarms but seem to have that sorted now.
then got it road for a day and blew the crank seal!!! bloody cars. so done that and put a new clutch in aswell. i'll get some pictures of it on here soon.

hi mg nut, i thought you would on this site somewhere. chards quite popular with brm's. there's 3 or 4 around here at least.
the engine is still not spot on but its getting there. not a lot of room at all. had to wedge in the filters.
sounds great, lumpy as hell on tickover and pops and bangs when you let off the throttle.
its a rover mems ecu at the moment. we think its from a caterham slr because it doesn't make anything on the rover computer system.
Interesting ECU, I'd have thought you'd be running something aftermarket such as an Emerald?
No problems with getting air to the TB's then, that was one of my concerns with them sitting round the back of the engine, but I suppose they just suck in all the air they need.

looking into getting either emerald or dta ecu soon. when i've got the time and money. bodies should suck in however much they need. there not a lot of space on any cars for them so everyone is the same.
need to get adjustable cam pulleys next as exhaust valves seen to be opening to early. more money!
