Just a quick question, You know the sill kick plates on the BRM, were they fitted as standard with kick plates that read 'BRM' on the sill kick plate, i ask this because i have just seen a set on ebay............but on my car the sill kick plates read 'Rover'
So was it a case of some were fitted with 'BRM' and some with 'Rover' or should they all have been 'BRM' ?!?!
Any info would be appreciated, Cheers:beer2:

I believe the custom 'BRM' sill plates were a standard feature unique to the BRM, all 'normal' Rover 200's came with the Rover ones iirc.

Check your engine, does it have a bit near the back with 'vvc' on it?

Hmmmm well i have ended up buying a set of BRM sill kick plates off ebay in the end as i missed out on the last set. The lad i bought the car off did tell me that he had the front 2 wings re-done as to have some rust treated and the the wings re-sprayed, so i'm wondering if when this work was done the BRM sill kick plates were taken off and lost so then a set of 'Rover' ones were put on after the paintwork had taken place.
I have no doubt that it is a BRM, i just started wondering was there more to the work that was done on the car than was let on (i.e. been in a smash) I have had a good look around the car, underneath etc and there are no creases or any signs of anything untoward?! Maybe i think too much and it was all a genuine reason for the BRM ones not being on there............ah well! Thanks for the replies, at least i know it should be BRM ones on there ;-)
