Tig welding settings

Does anyone have any idea how to set up a tig welder, ive spilt old gearbox oil over the instructions and cant rear how to set it up, does anyone have a link or know who to set it up, My spot welder wont fit so ive been forced to use the tig...
anyone on here have a rough idea, i havnt dont it in about 5 yrs so i have forgot.
Any help will be wicked !! :D
