Bonfire night!

So what are everyone's plans for this most tenuos of national celebrations?

I'm thinking wrapped up warm, mulled wine, jacket potatos with chille con carne and fireworks in the garden :D

Fyi if you find yourself dragging a sofa outside to watch shopping trolleys glow on a fire of old doors and fence panel - chances are you're a chav! :chair:

Where gonna be gettin our fireworks tonight, waitin till friday for the party though. Its got to be the traditional pie and peas for us though!!!

Theres going to be a hog roast at the party I am going to (not roasted on the bonfire!) but it's hissing down here and I have to find my wellies and waterproof.

I've been stood out on the balcony at the back of my flat watching the lads from the estate start a bonfire in the kids basketball park using what appears to be stolen disposable bbq's and the contents of the rubbish bins from surrounding "parkland" (grotty field full of used syringes and discarded cider bottles) and then chuck aerosol cans and glass bottles on it.

At one point one of them looked up and bellowed "Alrite titties! Fancy a go on this??!!!" and then pointed at his genitals.


If anyone can beat my evening I'll let them have a go on this! *points at half empty bottle wine*

Nope, a multiple shot thingy fired off the first one and then fell over. Proceeded to launch fireworks at the people/house/shed and try and set light to everything! Was pretty scary!

I got drunk and ran round on my friends roof setting fireworks off on friday. Thats right...the roof.


We disadvantaged inner London kids dont have gardens, and apparetly you arent meant to set them off in the street, so the roof was the next best option. :)

My fireworks night sounds a little like Adams. One of our big "9 shot" banger jobs self destructed, blowing 8 lighted tubes across the garden - it then turned into a game of dodge the red hot explosive!

We were also a pretty good advert for not putting used fireworks on the bonfire.....
