Took delivery of a pair of Toyo Proxies for my car yesterday and arranged to go to a local fitter this morning at 8 to have them on.

So I get there before the place opens and when the guy arrives, he gets dropped off by his girlfriend, she gives it some beans and wheelspins off down the road.

He walks past me and says 'f**k off I'm not fitting your tyres.'

So I follow him in ask him if he's serious, and end up going to another place around the corner.

Adams Tyre Specialist in Beverley.

CUSTOMER SERVICE FAIL...............asshat. :mad:

Outrageous!! Obviously the guy's having a bad morning, but that's not your fault.

He sounds like he went to the "Bornunder Dutchess School Of Client Relations"


I once refused to quote one of my clients on any more bussiness on the basis I had done like 40 grands worth of quotes and he diddnt place any orders. So I told him to f*ck off and stop wasting my time if he had no intention of doing any real business"

He came back the next day and spend 20 Grand....I felt a wee bit stupid! :)

I got a similar response once when I asked about fitting tyres. It seems that a lot of tyre fitters don't like being undercut on price by internet sellers so they fight back by refusing to fit them. I only know of one place in Warrington that are happy to do it.

Shocking attitude. I understand they don't like fitting tyres that you provide, but its silly really, their just losing business.

I'd already been in the day before and arranged them to fit them the following morning, they knew the score and my mate had the internet tyres done there the week before.

He was just being a tool.
