Hi, just thought I'd post a couple of pics of my Rover.

Got myself a new DSLR last week so took a pic of the car.

As you know, its part BRM, part ZR, its five door and its diesel!

Here's the car when I bought it, back in April 2007

I likes it!

The FMIC looks sweet behind the orange grill.
Are the sideskirts colour coded? and are they on the right way round? They look slightly odd for some reason. Look good though!

Nice wheels btw :ninja:

Any close up pics of the fitting of the lights??

I'm fed up of the crappy lights on mine, and the previous projector lights i bought for my silver bubble just didnt fit properly, but i'm now considering getting some purely as they're better lights

Yep, the side skirts are colour coded, and are on the right way round. They look slightly odd because I've not had the time to glue themso they'resagging in the middle. And that pic was taken at about 10pm on Sunday night, and there was alot of condensation on the car from the cold. Thats why the rear looks slightly purple.

Loving the wheels, did a quick refurb on them to get them looks good as i needed them on asap. Will be refurbing them soon again though, I'm thinking gunmeatal.

I've just been told on my forum that the car looks brilliant, but the orange grille looks odd and chavvy!
Can you believe that!!!

Not got any close up pics of the fitting. They never used to line up before, and with the panels being slightly bent now (after my crash), its hard to say.

They're so much better than standard lights though. And I've just put HID's in them, well worth the money!

I'm known for being a bit of a grump on the lookalike cars, but I think it's not to bad.

A new badge-less grill work a treat i think, I just don't think the chrome goes well with the rest of the car and maybe colour code the bump strips. Apart from that, not a bad motor :)

And this forum is very odd and chavvy, everyone has them orange grills ;) lol

Funny you should say that Daz........

Bit of an update on the dirty derv...

Had the wheels refurbed gunmetal, and made a start on the colour coding. Also got the Dubmiester pressed plates and Rover surrounds.

Still need to get some sort of badges for the centre caps, just didn't want MG on when its not an MG.

Same sorta pic as last time, but i think that place works well for photo's.

Also has a stage 2 hybrid turbo now, running at 26psi!

Opinions?

You definatly need the side skirts sorted, the sagging makes them look cheap lol

Apart from that its pretty nice, and have you tried no center caps with your alloys, some people prefer that and it might look better since you dont have any badges on them.

and how about an orange spoiler?

I didn't have the centre caps in before, thought it looked good. Just fancied putting the centre caps in after the refurb.

Have been thinking about an orange spoiler, but still undecided.

And the skirts..... they're catching on my drive now :( Will be sorted asap.
