Anyone watch tonights?

He basically laid a scalextric track the full circuit of the old Brooklands motor racing circuit - which I belive is the namesake of our wonderful green cars! - though most of it has been developed into housing estates and buisness parks, and broke the record for the worlds longest scalextric track with a race on it helped by the locals now living/working on the site of the old circuit!

Anyway if you missed it and you're interested see here:

Yeah I had a watch of this one - to be honest it's been a good series so far, I particularly liked the full size airfix Spitfire.

I happen to work in Weybridge at the Brooklands end, so it was fun seeing all the places i know pretty well, and a few people i recognised!

I volunteered to take part in the building and the race, but they had thousands of voluteers already.

It's funny, every time I drive home I drive past the Brooklands banking, but it's easy to forget what a historic site it is for motor racing - that show brought it back. I might go for a little visit to the museum again actually.
