In the interests of making it interesting...lets open bets on me passing/failing my upcoming driving test.

And before anyone points out that I appear to have been driving around for months without taking the test..I am aware this isn't allowed...so are Hertfordshire police (evidently). Lets just forgive and forget and focus on the issue at hand.

Betting is now open...any hints and tips for passing, greatfully recived.

I tried reading that one already....too tough!

I've gone for "not crashing, a picture book for the under 5's" instead.

Do you ever go along there for "The Church" on Sundays?

Remember Maureen from that TV programme driving school?

When you turn your TV in a few years, Maureen will be replaced by yours truly.

If you have a accident and you've got no co driver teaching you then your insurance is void and other legal drivers on the road get hit with bigger insurance costs.:chair::police:

Too late now (been away from t'internet all weekend) but a friend of mine was working on stage today and I wondered if you were going to be bouncing around in the front row! :)

Forget what you learned when driving out on the road so far.

best thing you can do is take common sense into it and practise dealing with the situations.

IIRC you have to perform 2 specific things - rev park, rev round corner etc..

Concerntrate on those so when you are asked to do them you don't go to pieces.

Think about when you book your test - early am or school rush is best (spend most time sitting in traffic).

Remeber they aren't there to catch you out, they are just there to check if you are safe (fo yourself and others) .

Good luck.

Dan

I thought I'd avoid the whole dressing like a slapper tactic and rely on my questionable driving skills instead.

Sooo...with that in mind, would anyone like to revise their bets? :)

It was a stipulation before i could use the driving school car for my test - plus it gave them the chance to spend half an hour telling me just how AWESOME i am!!

So, did you pass?
