I want to fit the rotor discs on my car but can i fit the 282mm discs from the mg zs 180 without any other mods or do i need to change callipers to the ones off the mg zs 180 too

Calipers, pad carriers, pads and discs from a ZS180 or ZR160 must all be fitted to a BRM for things to work - I don't think there's any 'clearance' issue to the 16" BRM alloys either - this would only be a problem on 15" wheels on a Vi or similar.

Not that i want to sound like i'm poo pooing the idea, i had the Rotor Discs on a slightly less powerfull car and i thought they were awful tbh mate.

They look great sat still but actual performance is vv poor, there is a huge amount of surface area that is missing from the disc.

Hope you have a better experience then i did.

Cheers for the advice spanky i have bit the bullet and just shelled out for some 282mm brembo drilled and grooved discs mintex fast road pads and just finished rebuilding the zs 180 calipers , so all being well saturday morning will see the job done and i will up some pics when done.Thanx for the advice everyone,

Finally got the breaks done and what a difference they make the tubby stops as well as she goes now, Just thought id show her off a little,:police:

where did you score the discs and pats? are they 1177?
