I changed the led bulbs about a month ago and noticed how dull they were, well not any more decided to rectify them today which was a little fiddly but well worth it. I had to remove the dial faces from the unit and sand the backs down until they were pure white (remove amber filter paint)even on standard bulbs this is a big improvement it makes everything look yellow rather than that horrid 80s amber look,

did you have to take the needles off the get to the back of the dials to sand off the orange filter?
i saw a 'how to guide' on another forum and said you have to take the needles off, but they're really fragile and prone to breaking, and if they do your whole unit is basically fecked?
cheers

It does looks sweet, I've always wanted to do this when I had my ZR but could never be arsed, seems alot of work forsomething very trivial. How long did it take?
