Good news about your brother, glad he's home in one piece.

What type of Pirelli did you have fitted? (and how much did they cost if you don't mind me asking?)

I've still not sorted out our rear screen wash :( - need to get down to a pet shop type place specialising in fish tanks to buy parts first :)

Its Pirelli Pzero Nero and they charged me £73 including fitting (VAT excl)

I only had to get one done as the other side was done a few weeks ago in a bit of an emergency after I hit a nasty pot hole so they just found a tyre of the same make and put it on for me. They also did the tracking and balancing etc but I would guess thats part of the quoted price anyway with fitting new tyres?

And although I only mentioned it in passing conversation and diddnt actually ask them to do it they fixed the Rear wiper & washer pipe etc for me and diddn't charge for that so I think I got a good deal :)

£73 'on the wheel' for p-zero neros is good going - you must have fluttered your eyelids - they didn't stand a chance!

Seriously - good going IMO and sounds like a tidy bunch if they do 'small' jobs without charging - good business sense to 'look after' customers in this fashion.

:) Yeah they are really nice. I took them a 4 pack as a thankyou for the little jobs they did for free.

Strange having a working read wiper! I diddnt even know what button made it work at first! :)

She drives much smoother now the HT leads are sorted..I took her for a run up to Doncaster on saturday (long story involving two little uni Kids I found at a service station just outside of London who were doing a charity hitch hike)

Anyway..alls well that ends well....for now :) :)
