what particular dunlop tyre is used to get the ones with the white writing on them. i know you can buy a paint pen but i wondered if there was a particular tyre that was commonly used for this.

cheers, simon

hey, ave been looking into fitting mgf wheels on mine, so was looking for the tyre to match. i know they used a 215/40/16 dunlop for this instead of a 205/45/16 thats on mine at the moment.

found a link to what looks like a similar tyre. dont see why u couldnt fit these to the 6.5" wide alloy.

None come with the writing, it's only using a paint pen that you can do it. The ones to go for are the Sport Maxx's as they superceeded the SP9000's.

hey, ave been looking into fitting mgf wheels on mine,

The MGF wheels wont fit without a lot of work as they have a different pcd.

yeah i know, thats why ive been looking into it. found the wheels. been looking for hub adapters but no luck. if i took mgf hub centres, mounted the rear on the front and the front on the back of the brm.
thinking that the mgf driveshafts are on the rear and on the front of the brm.
would the brm wheel bearings fit with the mgf hub centres?
also the wheels from the mgf are offset 28. does anyone know if these would cause any rubing issues?
