Hi,

Has Anyone got any exprience of removing the silver paint from a 're-touched' grill?

Looking at buying a BRM, but it has the dealer silver repray, does anyone know if it's possible to remove the silver, or would it be a case of re-painting the grill??

thanks
Matt

It'll be a respray job - could get decent enough result if you're confident with a rattle can though.

cheers Mark,

I've got little experience in rattle can spraying, never was any good at graffiti ! LOL !!

Have a mate with a spray booth though, so thanks for the reply.

Still don't understand why some peeps think the BRM looks better with a Silver grill, sacrilidge IMHO...

I resprayed mine as mine was Silver. Looks fine though. I found it easier to mask off the car then remove the grill.

Thinking on it now - this thread might interest you! alternate to having the paint made up.
