Change of battery now no stereo

Hi all,

I've had my BRM for about 3 years now and I had to change the battery. I went to put in the code for the stereo but unfortunatley the small screen on the dash board hasn't worked in a while and now I can't see whats happening to beable to reset the stereo.

Could anyone give me some help or advice as it's very boring driving to work at the moment.

You will need to replace the clock display if you can't read it so that you can input the code

i have a nice jvc headunit for sale if you want one. its £35 delivered. cd player, i pod inputs, changeable display and you can buy an adaptor for it to use the steering wheel controls.

If some one with the standard stereo could give him the button sequence then he can do it blind.

Sorry I should have said "Samantha" not sam

I was just hoping someone might know how the sequence looks when you have to reprogram the stereo. I would prefer not to have to buy a new stereo and getting the clock display changed sounds difficult.

Changing the clock is quite easy, you just ease the surround of with a screwdriver or similar and then the clock is held in with two screws then remove the multiplug of the back.

You may be able to do it blind but if a lot of digits are missing and some buttons have been pressed then you may not no whereabouts in the sequence it is at the moment.
