hi guys,

jays (funkie monkie) new BRM has a slight issue with the clutch pedal :weep:. Matt (who owned it before) suggested that the clutch pedal return spring might of snapped, anyway, got jay a new one and fitted it tonight but it hasnt rectified the problem and the clutch pedal is sitting extremley high and flapping around a little bit .

the clutch still works as it should and the biting point is normal :hmmm:.

any ideas would be appreciated .

cheers, simon:bounce:

On most 200's 25's zr's etc the clutch pedal does sit higher than the brake pedal

Every car is different. Most 200/25/ZR have a high biting point. Maybe your car has been modified to have a lower one, it is nothing to worry about.

dont know whats up behind the peddle but can remember busting me back on lots of cars in the past where the nylon or plasic bushes the peddles are attached to warw or break leaving you with a floppy peddle it certainly shouldnt move to much from side to side
