well, after meeting ian (chubbybeats), i was lucky enough to take ownership of 2 immaculate front wings that are completely rust free. so, today im going to fit them to replace the 'dead' ones on emma at the moment.

took a couple of hours to do. would be easier if i had took the bumper off, but i dont think it would of saved that much time.

Thats definately not gonna happen. lol
I've just noticed one of my wings has a few areas which are annoying me, mainly because i had the drivers side painted not so long ago and now rust is coming through. (Damn salty roads)
Gonna be looking for a new wing too soon.

Funny world the only two good panels on mine are the front wings.I neeed to repair and spray both back wings and flick across both doors and fit a new rear bumper.

I might have some drilled n grooved discs for sale soon mate. They've seen approx 10k light use but i'll skim em up. Will only want a few quid for em. I'm upgrading to 282's or maybe even 4 pots soon so will have no need for em

ill take those then mate, if you could let me know a rought time when though as mine have quite a substantial lip now and ill be needing to do them sooner rather than later. i think on the same day ill be doing the reluctor rings aswell as its all in the same locale.

Looks a million times better that mate.
I didnt think they were that bad when I sold it, but I did drive it through winter and the salt will have had time to settle in and work its magic by now.

I love your car Simply Si it gives beauty a whole new definition. You car looks refined and it doesnt look to have had a tough life. The new wings are a must for you, no point in having a real flashy car with a bad conditioned body. Remember patience is key when repairing the rear wheel arches, the slower you go the less of a chance you will make a mistake.
I look forward to viewing the updates on this car and hope it is bringing you many happy miles. Please for the love of god dont crash it after all of this.
