I used to have a stereo like that years ago!! The CD changer broke within seconds and I had to rely on the Tape Deck.
Anyone else not miss tapes...like, at all?
I mean I miss other 80's stuff..like snes and global hyper colour t shirts. But not tapes. Not even a bit.

Just remember to press the 'noise reduction' button.... and put tape over the little holes on top of the cassette.
I was lucky that just as I was the age to start getting into music and buying my own - Cd's were just taking over and the only tapes I had where old rave stuff usually recorded at the scene.
My most precious CD is an original copy of Sasha and Digweeds 'Rennaisance The Mix Collection' which is widely regarded as the very first fully mixed dance CD. :yoji:

Did anyone else used to sit by their tape recorder during the Radio 1 top 40 on a Sunday evening, with their fingers poised over the play and record buttons ready to tape their favourite songs?
The trick was guessing when the DJ was about to stop talking so you didn't get a tape full of half sentances.

I still love vinyl, I always used to try to get hold of the special edition coloured and pictured singles, but its a dying breed.
The only stuff you seem to be able to get on vinyl now is that guff that people try to mix and scratch.

Ten minutes later the building had been evacuated due to a horrible stink.
