Got one!

Slightly higher mileage than I wanted but its all there and needs a bloody good clean! It was a buy it now job off ebay below my budget, there are a few questions though....

1, did all BRMs come with a remote for the alarm/central locking....

(I do know a firm that can programme a remote to suit so its just a case of knowing if they all had the remote setup ecu in the car)

2, It has the stock rover cassete head unit and I want to add the disc changer, does the changer plug in or do I need another head unit?

If thats the case I might as well fit my pioneer set but will it interface with the steering wheel controls and the display on the dash?

3, Can anyone reccomend a supplier of rover/brm floor mats?

Overall Im happy as the car goes very well and is very refined compared to my strada 130tc so will be a much nicer daily driver, slight brake judder and the discs look new so need to have a closer look at that.

Yes they did. It should have 2 remotes that control the central locking.

The changer should just plug straight in and work with the steering wheel controls. An aftermarket stereo will not work with the steering wheel controls/display unless you buy an adaptor.

I got a link from Boogie, cant remember it at the moment but will find out!

Glad you've got one mate, sounds like your happy with her. You've got to get some pictures up now or we'll have to meet up for a photoshoot sometime :D

What sort of adapter do i need to get the display working? MY NEW BRM :hooray: has a non-standard tape player and cd multi-changer fitted, and the display is just blank. i will probably replace the tape player anyway, as I want to play my ipod and I want an SD reader too.

Where could I get the adapter from and how much would it cost?
