with Summer hopefully coming to a town near you soon, I was wondering who has air con in the BRM?
I have ! :rambo:

or who's gonna be sweating it out ???

Yep. Aircon included with mine.
And its about the only thing that hasnt broken just yet! Amazing.

Air con is for wusses, not only does it sap your power but it also drinks the petrol, Ill stick with my sunroof, and all my windows open.

Have it in the road car but I think it needs re-gassing as I haven't used it for a few years now :rofl:
It was in the track car, but now sits in a series of boxes :D

Driving with air con on saps your power by around 15%, I know its true because it says so here,

It's doomed if you don't use! all your seals will be something something something!!!!
More than likely, but I never see the point in it as I'd rather have the window open and it costs too much in petrol :icecream:

Well I also have a Rover branded 6 CD changer. Its Fekkin Enormous and it lives under the passenger seat. ;)

Mine lived in the boot. It's now in a box as well though having stolen my Dire Straits CD :slap:

I've got air con, smells a bit musty tho when it's on :yucky: As for the sun roof, is it me or does anyone else have trouble closing it? Either the front shuts and the back pops up or vice versa, I got so p*****d off with it that I don't bother and just open the windows :slap:

LOL! thats just reminded me, I stuck my tounge out at a kid who was staring at me at some traffic lights the other day, so he stuck his tounge out back but his mum looked down at the right moment to catch him apparently sticking his tounge out at an innocent passer by and told him off.
Ok, I shouldnt find that as funny as I did..
But I did, there we go. Im going to Hell. :)

Havent got aircon in mine but had it in the coupe and its a total waste of time
1) its never hot enough in this country
2) if the mrs in the car,like all women their hot when its cold and cold when its hot

1) I have had occasions where I was very glad that I had airco in the car, in the UK and in the Netherlands, especially on longer trips.
Or on those days where you can't seem to get the windows clear of condensation.

I've had aircon on my last 3 or 4 cars, but I've never used it enough to warrant it.
I drive with my window open all the time, even through most of winter, so aircon is a waste.

Car i am driving does not have it
The car in the garage does.
So it looks like its windows down and even more liquid in the tank for me this summer.
But what does it matter when your behind the wheel of a BEAUTIFUL Rover BRM le.

There seems to be more BRM's with aircon than without.
