New wheels

As the missus is learning to drive in the BRM i thought it'd be a good idea to change the wheels to some bargain basement jobbies off ebay. (Dont want the BRM's getting damaged. lol.)

Not really my choise of wheel i'd normally choose but after sticking em on I quite like em

I might even keep em on for a while longer. As much as i like the BRM's they are too small IMO. reckon i might opt for some compo's at some point

Did it push your insurance up at all by putting the new wheels on?

Nope. They were fine with them going on. I've got optional modification protection insurance, if i wanted to include them under it then it'd go up a little bit but as i paid so little for em i'm not too fussed

I'm inclined to agree that the Cosmos' would be better an inch bigger but saying that I think the style of the Cosmos fits the car perfectly and would personally not swap them - though your reasoning is sound :laugh:

The style does fit perfectly but sometimes i look and just think that the wheels are just too small.

Reckon i'll sell both sets soon to fund the compo's anyway.

Tbf i paid £110. 3 perfect tyres and 1 with at least a few k left in it.

I might refurb em yet before i sell them anyway
