Another New Owner!!!!

hey all.

I finally bought my BRM last night! will pick it up on friday.

It has 90k miles with full service history and 2 lady owners. It has air con and the passenger side air bag. The interior is in mint condition, but the bodywork needs some tlc, there are a few very small spots of corrosion and there are a couple of scratches. Will hopefully get all this sorted in the next week or so. Best of all, it only cost £1500!!! think i got myself a bargin there!

My only problem with it is that the 70 year old woman who owned it before me took offence to the orange nose and had it painted green!! So that will defo be sorted and back to orange within the week!

does anyone know roughly how much this wil cost and the correct colour code?

Will post some pics after I pick her up and give her a polish! :D:D

don't worry about the grill, green one's go faster :)

As much as I hate to say it, sticking to the green grill might be a better option. The orange grill can attract unwanted attention.

I can see your point, but for the last year I have been driving a lowered MX5 with full bodykit, 17" alloys, and twin 4.5 inch full exhaust system! So I am used to the attention and would feel unloved if I didnt get any, good or bad! Plus, I wouldnt feel like i had a true BRM if it want orange!!

Dude - you've got to go orange. It's the only thing to do.
Paint codes have been discussed before on this forum - so have a root about and you should find the correct detail. Otherwise ask Adam - he's a fount of useful stuff like that.

cheers! Im loving it!! Been kinda red lining every gear a little though, done 130 miles in half a tank! oops!

Am shoppin round for quotes for the orange this week, should be done soon! Will post pics when it is.

I spent 3 hours polishing her on friday, and I got out all of the scratches! so she is looking gorgeous! Cant wait to get a zr spoiler, and an orange nose!
