Boot Latch

Can anyone tell me if the latch for the boot,held in by 2 ten mm bolts (what the hatch back catch closes onto) is adjustable or is it just mine thats tack welded into place

Yeah welded but one of the bolt hole threads is stripped maybe why someone did it.
Why boot is out of adjustment,have to grind of and re thread hole

That's a pain. They probably naffed it at some point and decided to bodge instead of re-fitting properly.

Grinded of the welds managed to get both bolts tightening properly but still the hatchback remains a poor fit,its eluding me at the moment....Well this whole hatchbacks been bodged on at some point the rear washer had been cut and once connected again was so blocked down that pipe running through the motor I actually had to drill through the bottom a hammer a panel pin through the blockage and glue a piece of plastic back over the hole took of both rear lights and cleaned and siliconed them to get rid of one of my leaks,feel like lately Iam living in my boot
