Well, I think the laugh was on me, Adam, Alan and my husband as we all ended up cleaning Kirsty's car for her ! She volunteered to look after the campsite while we took the cars to the pitch.
I didn't see a space for you tent Mark, I think you are bunking up with Kirsty

Ahhh back just been showering sorting out my things and getting my other internet bits out of the way.
Pics to follow on a new thread within the next half hour
Firstly I'd just like to say a huge thank you to everyone that came, it was a fantastic event and I haven't laughed so much in ages!
It was great to meet new and old people, Alan, Mark, Kirsty, Sue, Andy and Sue's brood (I'm useless with names :slap: )!
The weather was generally ok, so rain didn't really stop play over the weekend which was a bonus.
Getting there on the Friday was fine, everything set up nice and early for a good bit of boozing in the evening. Big thanks to Andy for helping us clean the cars :clap2:
Friday night was a laugh, loads of banter round the campfire, then Kirsty went AWOL and found some new friends in the Seat camp (who started a fight and got kicked off the campsite, whoops). Needless to say our neighbours in the ZS's were woken up and weren't very happy, but didn't say anything directly to us or I would have apologised :ike: But the evening was good and we all crashed out (Kirsty literally falling through her tent) ready for Saturday.
The show itself was very good, a wide range of cars, some very interesting and rare. The ones screaming around the track were good to watch and the smell of 2 stroke oil in the air was glorious :D
Sunday night was hilarious, Mark had joined us Saturday morning and the beer flowed all evening. Kirsty attempted to blow up the camp with her stove of doom, Alan was weilding more knives, Mark had some strange sort of 'bread-cake' and I was getting crawled on by giant insects.
A good show on Sunday but we left early to head home, especally after I found out that I had a new passenger. But a 7 hour nightmare journey later and I was home.
Again, it was a fantastic weekend. Laughed so much I almost cried at times. We have a great bunch of people on this site, so thank you all for making it so enjoyable:
Alan - the knife man
Kirsty - the troublemaker
Mark - the t'Northerner
Sue - the boozehound
I'll upload pictures later when I'm home, but for now just post your memries here! :D

How'd it take you 7hours to get home!? It took me three and it was the worst drive ever, too hot and too tired! :)
That's almost an epic tale in itself, bit it went along the lines of.......
Set off from the camping field, 2 minutes down the road flashed by Kirsty who's fan/ciggy lighter fuse had blown (you passed us then), took about 15 minutes to find/fix. Another few minutes down the road flashed again by K with same problem, checked fuse and all was fine so goodness knows what she'd done then  so another 5 minutes or so delay. Stopped for fuel in Nantwich and on leaving the service station found that the lighter that had caused K's problem someone had put in mine and blown my fuse as well, so another delay to change that.
Onto the M6 and M1 and it was pretty plain sailing, so did the first 100 miles in about 2 hours. Eventually got to London and the North circular was blocked due to a crash, so Alan took me a few other routes which were all jammed with traffic. Got to Alans, dropped him off and set off again to mine. Had decided to go through the Blackwall tunnel as the signs on the M1 had long delays for the bridge on the M25, so eventually crawled to the Blackwall tunnel to find it shut :slap:
I then sat in HOURS of nose/tail traffic through London to the Rotherhithe tunnel and through Deptford/Greenwich.
It was a mission and I was just pooped when I got home. So tired I almost slept past my station on the train this morning

Morning or should I say afternoon as I was sensible enough to take Monday of work I seem to have slept till 1 in the afternoon..... nice.
Was a great weekend meeting a couple of members I havent met before,Mark and sue and seeing Adam for the second time as well as Kirsty who I now seem to know well enough now to say she will always be late and always forget things, mainly her purse haha, almost had to do a runner at the petrol station,of course also Sue`s lovely family.
Your all a great crowd I had so much fun we all seem to get along so well and now have a great story to tell and some new sayings.
Those that didnt make it you missed out badly on a great time,I hope we do this again next year and my only regret is that my car wasnt well enough to make the journey.
A special thanks to Adam who had to take me home on a night that part of the M25 was closed and North London was in chaos due to an accident (god man you must be knackered).
Iam now the proud owner of a bobble hat and a pin badge (cheers Ladies) and memories that make me know that being a BRM owner and member of theBRM.co.uk forum is the best thing Ive done in years

Well we always know she was going to get into some sort of trouble over the weekend
The story goes.....
Kirsty bought the camping stove of DOOM, which as soon as the gas bottle was connected the gas came out through a random hole in the system not through the ring. Alan, being our local Chuck Norris, plugged the hole with a matchstick using his special matchstick whittling knife.
It seemed to work ok until Kirsty used it and the matchstick caught alight. Immediately turning it off and getting rid of the matchstick remains, Kirsty thought it would be fine to use without the matchstick plug and promptly connected the gas an hit the lighter..........
Immediately the entire assembly burst into flames and Kirsty's cure for the inferno now raging between our tents was to try and blow it out!
A couple of puffs later with Alan laughing from a safe distance, Kirsty bottled it and dived into my tent screaming, while said inferno continued to rage!
Risking life and limb and thinking "oh :shit: there's a gas canister in there" I deftly leapt to the rescue in the only way I could think of.........and punted the entire flaming mass as hard as I could with an almighty BOOT!!
The flaming hob crashed through Kirsty's Ipod and speakers and landed breaking into lots of bits but releasing the canister and putting the fire out.
Hero status I believe :D
