Anyone that's interested please pop your name down on here and I'll get in touch with Gaydon to see whether I can arrange any discounts, etc.
After touring the museum we will probably go to a nearby pub for food, etc!

Group Tour form arrived today from Gaydon so sending that off!
Does anyone want a guided tour?
Does anyone fancy go-karting?
Let me know if you do
Sorry for no reply sooner. I've sent the forms off today, I opted out of the guided tour so that people can venture round on their own. The go-karts will be open on the day at their track at the museum, I dont have any further details on this i'm afraid.
As for numbers so far the list stands as this....

Ha ha - the go karts are quite fun! - a tour is worth doing if you have never been there before. I some knowledge of the site being a JLR employee.
There appears to be a rumour floating around that there could be some time on test track available.. i would just like to say.. no no no no no way on this earth so please dont come expecting a track jolly 'on the off chance'. To reiterate the track is owned by Ford and there is extensive testing for Jag and LR along with Aston still on going (as i have to do some of it). Still if the weather holds out it should be a laugh.
Adam i assume i'm closest to Gaydon (Coventry) if you need any help etc in the closing days drop me an email danbank81@googlemail.com.
Thanks
Dan
Cheers Dan, thanks for all that info I'm sure i'll give you a bell closer to the time.
I was told the same about the track so that's a definite nono i'm afraid. Never mind, if people want track time so much I'm sure I can sort something for the next meet :D

I believe theTripple M club have got a meet at Gaydon on the Sunday (Metro, Maestro, Montego).
That'd be good, but wouldn't want to show them up with our lovely BRM's so the saturday it is :D

The number of MG Metros I have chopped for engines means I am probably on some MMM hit list.

Yes Mine lol. I have an MG Metro. As with all MG/Rover/Austin they are all from our favourite car maker & need to be saved/preserved.

If it wasn't for people like me MG Metros would be common as muck.
Oh, that's not true, tin worm would still have taken it's toll ;-)

And handily, if we are coming back to Warwick I won't have far to go to get home. I only live about 200 yards from the Castle. I was wondering where you wanted to park up?

Might be tricky, there is nowhere public you can park where you could get the castle in the background. I think the best place might be Myton Fields or at the castle gates (which are where you multimap link points.)
The only way you might get a picture with the cars and the castle might be going over the bridge in convoy. You lot drive, i'll take the picture!

I only intend to go meet at the museum. I have to go into Didcot on the way back. I've heard the weather isn't going to be that great either.
Kev.
Have faith Kev, I'm sure it'll be ok and the rain will hold off!
People are more than welcome to come to as little or as much of the meet as they like :D

Adam,
If you want to give me call on the morning - ********* if anything changes.
I assume most will be in Convoy from N/S M40?
I'll be doing the back roads on the way in..
Are we in the Hertitage Centre car park (gravel by the karts) OR right out front of the Heritage?
Dan
Will do mate, nothing should change now though :D
I'm coming with Phil from down South up the M40 we're meeting at Junction 9, Cherwell Valley Services first.
p.s. I removed your phone number, never know who's about on the net nowadays ;)
Rightio, I probably wont be on here again after tonight as I'm going out for chinese soon to fill my face full of yummy noodles and pork!
