Does anyone know where i might get the brm letter of authenticity and brm supplement that would have been with the handbook and and other bits in the leather wallet when new . Also were they normal rover wallets or special brm ones ?

You mean this lot? I'm guessing a scan or photocopy is your only option :)

(credit to Welshone, they're his scans)

Dash plaques are something you need to get made up yourself I'm afraid, we don't have any sort of scheme here - the Owners clubs proved to be notoriously unreliable as you can see from the state of it today :)

I got them made up by Timpsons, special order and they were about £15 iirc. Although I still need to change mine as it's based on the old OMC numbers which are wrong :slap:

I have only just seen this post after all this time! My copy, which Mark gave me is still on the back seat of the car - and no it's not funnel shape :shifty:

IIRC the BRM Handbook folder I had with mine was a poncy Burgundy leather one. Now, if all 200's had poncy leather handbook folders, then hush my mouth, but I'm convinced mine was a bit special.
When I sold my BRM, it was complete with a service history and all the bits of paper including the supplement. I must have been mad, because I also gave the bloke 2x wing badges and a stack of other stuff.
Still he was pleased with it at the time. Didn't keep it long though... Wonder where she is now - V***DJM anyone? A particularly fine example, with all the toys (Air Con, Twin Air Bags, CD etc).

All the Rover 200's (4 in total) i've had have had the same poncy Burgundy leather wallet. Nothing special sadly, would have been good to have had a red leather one
