Damn, curse, shout, scream!!!
I'm still in Liverpool and the weather is turning very winterish in Holland so my father brought the car to the garage today to have the winter tires fitted. He also asked them to check out the rear brakes as they were making noise.
Turns out that (according to the garage) I need new discs & callipers.
Freaking hell!
Luckily I will be back in NL on monday and will have a look at it myself before coughing up money I can't really miss at the moment to have somebody else fit all of them.
mmmmm...not really happy now.
Will keep you updated.

Be double sure with their diagnosis of the calipers that its not a stuck hanbrake link or something else first

Just talked to my dad and he reckons just an overhaul of the calipers is needed.
But do need new discs & pads...Grrrrrrrr!
On the other side: this will be the first time in more than 10 years that the rear discs need changing so I can't really complain.
Wintertires are fitted now which was just in time as it started snowing when my dad was on his way back home.

My bets is that its your rear slider pins sticking, get them out, cleaned up and regreased and you'll be golden - though you'll prob still need discs if they've been rubbing.

I bought the mintex brake box in January this year - just had to replace the discs as they warped in about 4 months, though I think sticking caliper was to blame, bought Brembo's this time for about £30 and a new set of caliper pins.

I just bought a pair of discs & pads locally, the whole lot came to 40 quid as above mentioned vendor couldn't deliver on time.
Will take them to NL as I was quoted 45+VAT euro per discs & then something for the pads. I can even ask the VAT back on the airport.
A friend of mine will help me overhauling the calipers & change out the discs as I don't have the (warm) garage space or equipment for it. We will take careful note of the caliper pins, thanks for the tip!
I will keep u all updated!

I got EBC Green Stuff on the front and they do make a difference (I think), especially on the brake-dust. Will keep normal ones on the back as they are not getting the use as the fwd ones and they do just fine.

Both rear calipers have been overhauled today, new discs and pads fitted. Everything is ok again.
Glad I could do it in my friends warm & dry workshop as it is wet, cold & snowing outside.
