Ok as you may or not know my brother works here,and I have on a few occasions taken some friends here when the factory was Benetton and Renault F1.

I will be seeing my brother over Christmas and will ask about taking a larger number,but first I want to find out how many would be interested.

I would also like to arrange this as a BRM meet which involves us bringing our cars as well,although I understand this is not possible for some.

Picking a convenient time and a time when we can see the all new Lotus Renault car in all its glory is something I will need to find out.

The factory is situated in Enstone,Oxfordshire and is a spirited country lane drive to the middle of nowhere :) so we would probably meet at a pub near the middle of nowhere :D

Just think, I'm near Hethel, the real home of Lotus, well Team Lotus.

Gonna be confusing with 4 Lotus on the grid, and all them will have Renault engines too.

Waiting on my Brother to get permissions at the moment hes always hard to get hold of on the run up to the season

Ok heres how this stands Iam waiting for my brother to get approval from the directors

The bad...Due to poor publicity/scandel over the last couple of seasons, Renault F1 are very sensitive as to exactly whos walking around the shop floor,especially larger groups

Its certainly with the new car under wraps and in development not a time we can go at the moment

The good....dont think this is going to cost anything and personally I dont see a reason why we shouldnt be able to go.

It may well be this may have to be done in 2 batches around two groups of ten on different days

The best thing to say right now is allow for the fact theres a small chance that for the time being we might get a no back from the directors

Anyone else whos interested in this let me know now as I will if this goes ahead have to give all the details of whos coming and wont be able to include anyone after that

Well I kept the bad news for after POL,but it seems we cant pull this one off,the new management at Lotus F1 will just not allow any large groups in,my brother is trying to go round the person that has put a block on this,but its not looking like I can do as promised and feel pretty gutted at the mo :(

Will get this back one day,Its just the present management,this never used to be a problem,Ive been a few times under Benetton and Renault,I would say this is Lotus but its Proton,doh Ive lost track of whos who nowadays
