bit poorly aimed if you ask me, you don't use premium fuels in rep mobiles? I don't even use premium fuels in the BRM. Traditional what car reporting though :(

Save it for performance cars which are designed to make use of the higher octane, as per the performance figures for the golf gti.

I do however find the diesel part interesting, as how does the modern diesel engine adjust for better quality fuel?

The k series doesn't have a knock sensor and will not adjust to anything but 95 ron, so better fuel is pointless other than for cleaning additives in better fuels like V power.

I always run mine on V power it may seem silly but I seem to be able to do more miles per gallon (litre) with it.
